What was the highlight of Hotel Tiber Fiumicino
Great value, excellent location near the airport.
Young man who might have been in charge of the restaurant or waiting tables exemplified the best of Customer Service. He was charming and kind. The chef should be complimented on the excellent dinner. The fish and vegetables were fresh and delicious.
It would have been amazing if the pool was heated. I’m sure that was advertised, but I didn’t notice it. The hotel shuttle was a bit difficult to find, partially because the airport was under maintenance/construction and the map was difficult to follow. I ended up taking a taxi to the hotel, which was quite expensive. I successfully took the shuttle back to the airport though.

Bed mattress was so lumpy and soft. Room had wind noise. The restaurant food is average.

Excellent location on waterfront. We strolled along the mole before departing for the airport.
Check in went well. Location for us was excellent - we walked to Porto Claudius. Breakfast was good. Staff all appraochable and pleasant. Shuttle departure went right on time.
OK no facilities in room for Tea or Coffee. The door to balcony didn't fit properly and because it was very windy this whistled during the night. Could not get the TV to work. For one night we could put up with these issues but for longer it would be very disappointing.
